September 15–21 is National Rehab Awareness Week—a time to celebrate the power of rehabilitation in restoring strength, independence, and confidence. At Sunnyside Communities, we’re proud to provide outpatient therapy services at all three of our communities: Sunnyside in Harrisonburg, King’s Grant in Martinsville, and Summit Square in Waynesboro.
Our outpatient therapy programs are open to residents and to the wider community, with a full range of services tailored to individual needs:
- Physical Therapy to improve strength, balance, mobility, and pain management.
- Occupational Therapy to rebuild independence in everyday activities.
- Speech Therapy to support communication and swallowing.
- Pelvic Floor Therapy to address issues of strength, control, and confidence in daily life.
We are actively accepting referrals from physicians and providers, and we welcome anyone interested in learning more to reach out directly. Each person’s therapy plan is designed with personal goals in mind—whether that’s recovering from surgery, improving mobility, or regaining confidence in daily living.
