This spring, Amanda Argenbright was recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association with the prestigious Memory Maker Award at the Power of Purple Volunteer Appreciation Reception. The award celebrates volunteers who demonstrate extraordinary dedication and compassion in their hands-on work with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Amanda was honored for her unwavering commitment to providing meaningful support, fostering engagement, and enhancing quality of life for patients and their families. Her efforts extend beyond day-to-day support—she currently serves on the Greater Augusta Alzheimer’s Walk Committee and has led Summit Square’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s team as captain for the past eight years.
