Summit Square has been recognized with five First Place honors in the 2026 Waynesboro Valley Favorites Awards, celebrating the community’s commitment to providing exceptional senior living, care and services in Waynesboro and the surrounding region.
Summit Square received First Place recognition for Most Respected Assisted Living Community, Most Respected Memory Care Facility, Most Respected Retirement Community, Most Respected Senior Living Community and Favorite Physical Therapist Office.
The five awards reflect the dedication of team members across Summit Square who work each day to create a welcoming community where residents can remain active, connected and supported throughout their retirement journey.

The Waynesboro Valley Favorites Awards recognize businesses, organizations and professionals throughout the region based on community voting.
Summit Square is a nonprofit Life Plan Community in Waynesboro, Virginia, and part of Sunnyside Communities. The community offers independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, providing residents with opportunities to enjoy an active lifestyle along with access to additional levels of support should their needs change.
