Sunnyside Retirement Community has been selected as a 2024–2025 “Community Partner of the Year” by James Madison University’s Health Services Administration Program, part of the Department of Health Professions.
This honor recognizes Sunnyside’s long-standing partnership with JMU and its continued commitment to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals through mentorship, internships, and hands-on learning experiences.
The award will be presented during the Community Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Department of Health Professions, on Friday, May 2, 2025. The celebration will take place in the Highlands Room of the Festival Conference & Student Center on JMU’s East Campus.
Sunnyside is proud to be part of shaping the future of healthcare leadership by providing real-world experience and guidance to students pursuing careers in health services administration. Representatives from Sunnyside will attend the awards breakfast to accept the honor and celebrate this meaningful collaboration.
