This month’s Snapshots of Home is all about summer magic—quiet moments, bursts of color, and the simple joy of coming together.
At King’s Grant, residents and staff soaked up the sunshine and classic charm of the annual Cruise-In. Smiles were everywhere—from proud car owners polishing chrome to little ones taking in the view from behind a big wheel. Staff even joined in, showing off their own rides and serving up ice cream and free food with heart.
Over at Summit Square, the Car Show brought out the sparkle—literally—with fairy hair, hot rods, and family fun on full display. Staff and their kids enjoyed the warm-weather tradition, while a peaceful deer wandered by the pond, just taking it all in.
At Sunnyside, summer bloomed in every corner. Lavender swayed in the breeze, tree trunks told stories, and the sky put on its own show above Aberdeen Loop. A doe and her fawn made a quiet appearance near the woods, and handcrafted ink pens made by residents welcomed guests at the Tri-Community event—where fellowship, leadership, and a few surprises took center stage.
Each of these moments, big and small, reminds us that home goes beyond a place—home is where roots grow, connections deepen, and inspiration begins.
Until next time,
