In late August, the Highlands at Sunnyside was filled with laughter, conversation, and friendly bidding as residents and staff came together for an afternoon silent auction in support of the Fellowship Fund. Tables lined with donated items invited neighbors to join in, and by the close of the event, $1920 had been raised—all to support fellow residents who outlive their financial resources through no fault of their own.
This resident- and staff-wide auction was designed as a teaser for one of Sunnyside’s most anticipated gatherings: Twilight Tapas and Tunes, happening Thursday, September 25 at Brix and Columns Vineyard.
That evening, guests will enjoy a lively mix of community and cause. The event will feature a silent auction, a spirited live auction, and the ever-popular wine pull, alongside live music from Robbie Limon, whose performances always set the perfect tone for a memorable night.
Together, the August silent auction and the upcoming Twilight Tapas and Tunes reflect what makes Sunnyside special: neighbors, staff, and friends pulling together to ensure that every member of the community can continue to live with dignity, security, and peace of mind.
