BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibilities of the Assisted Living Social Services Coordinator are to assess residents’ special need requirements, identify and utilize all relevant resources available to residents to improve their quality of life, submit resident’s claims for long-term care insurance and provide overall guidance to residents and their families on financial assistance as well as promote Assisted Living and Healthcare to potential residents and their families.
  • Education and experience equivalent to bachelor’s degree of social work or human services field
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in the field; long-term care preferred
  • UAI/ISP certification preferred or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong phone etiquette and ability to speak with appropriate grammar
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and having good organizational skills
  • Operate a personal computer, printer, copy machines and other general office equipment. Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills; maintain a hospitality approach when engaging all individuals
SHIFT/HOURS:  8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with additional hours as necessary
