Brief Description: The primary responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Manager are to manage and direct the daily operations of dining services to include catering.
Qualifications:
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience and the ability to train, develop and lead a team.
  • Must be computer literate and have knowlege of employee relations, ethics, food sanitation, safety, ABC laws and regulations, basic food preparation and accepted food service techniques as well as knowledge of nutrition and menu planning.
  • Two years experience in long-term care preferred.
Shift/Hours: Based on resident needs and staffing requirements.
Typically 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and every third weekend.
