Brief Description: The primary responsibility of the Dining Services Director is to oversee all aspects of the Dining Services in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to include nursing home, assisted living and independent living.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in food service or related field preferred
  • Minimum three to five years management experience in the food services industry required
  • Familiar with regulations, guidelines, practices and procedures pertaining to a CCRC
  • Working knowledge of budgetary processes to include oversight of staffing patterns
  • Knowledge of safety, housekeeping procedures, basic food preparation, menu planning and accepted food service techniques, employee relations and food sanitation
  • Catering experience to including ability to plan, coordinate and organize catering events
  • Must possess CDM certification
  • Microsoft Office experience a must
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization and time management skills required
Shift/Hours: 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed
